faces2012 was Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation’s first national conference. After months of planning and preparing, the event took place Friday, October 26, 2012 through Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Ambassador Banquet and Conference Center in Erie, Pa. People from 13 states and Canada traveled to participate in this monumental weekend. The conference consisted of research updates from lead Kanzius researchers, fundraising and awareness workshops, informative and inspiring presentations, opportunities to network as well as several supporting vendors. From the Friday night welcoming reception, to the luncheon with Glenn Beck, and through the closing ceremony on Saturday afternoon, the engagement level was high and the amount of support shown for the research was overwhelming. faces2012 was a grand success and yet another step towards reaching “a better way” to treat cancer!
