For years I have been engaged in John Kanzius' story regarding his vision and technology. There had to be better ways for treating cancer; it almost seemed as if medicine hadn't progressed past the drastic amputations of the Civil War.

I work for a company that provides tools for the Kanzius Foundation to enhance and promote their Foundation. It's important to me that their mission succeeds.

Recently, I have been diagnosed with stage III rectal cancer. I have months of chemo/radiation ahead of me, followed by surgery to probably remove my rectum, and more months of post-operative chemotherapy.

I'm 42 years old. I should be at the half-way point, and the treatment for this disease is going to affect my quality of life.

More than ever, I am committed to the Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation producing a viable model of patient treatment that help people like me maintain a normal quality of life.
